Continue on with me through the Tree Art exhibition at Cincinnati, Ohio’s California Woods Nature Preserve. As we make our way through the final section, keep a look out for the hidden faces and disguised creatures. See what Ohio’s nature has to offer.
That first one makes me think of Ents or the apple-throwing trees from Wizard of Oz.
True!
You make trees so interesting to see through your lens.
Thanks Toni.
Amazing work!
Thank you.
Love it. Nature at her finest.
Thank you. :)))
I vote smoothly rugged and turtle with no shell. Hilariously beautiful.
🙂 Thank you so much. 🙂
There is just a majesty to nature that humankind can never quite match. Long may it be so.
True. Thanks David.
And I meant to say: thank you so much for continuing to bring it to us! We really do appreciate it.
Welcome. Thanks David.

Hi! I have soooo many questions. You, of course, are not obligated to satiate my curiosity. ;o) 1) do you know how a park in Ohio got a name like California Woods? 2) I am soooo curious how you get the grey color on the wood and make the green pop so much…I am SO green to photography…do you run them through a photo editor to do that? You make all the right things “pop.” I LOVE your work!
(1) I don’t. I’ve been trying to find out. (2) I use a program(FX photo studio) to take all the color out but the green. (3) Thanks!
Ha, the Kiss! That made me smile 🙂
🙂 Thanks Leslie.
I love photographing trees too….LOL. Love the “growth” on the last one and the first is spectacular in my opinion1 😀
Thanks Keli.
The limbs on that top tree are unusually low to the ground. Really a cool view. Thanks for the like of my post “Bird in Flight”.
Thanks lamrcc.
All great shots! Nice to see landscape without snow for a change 🙂
