About Seth Snap.

Seth Snap is a blog about the beauty I see in my everyday world.  I want my work to show that by stopping and paying attention to my surroundings, I discover amazing things.  I hope that my photos inspire others to do the same.  I devote a great deal of my time to landscape, nature and wildlife as I live in a rural area.  But, don’t let that fool you, I also enjoy city and street scenes, and of course people.  I’m not quite sure exactly what spurred me into my love of photography.  Probably my mom has influenced me the most.  She has always enjoyed snapping moments.

I have my B.A. in History and French from The University of Mississippi(a.k.a Ole Miss) and my J.D. from The University of Dayton.  I currently work in Legal Research.  I also teach a few classes a year as an adjunct at a local university.  I have a partner of twelve years, Todd, two children, I mean dogs, Baylee and Jackson, and two cats, Whimble and Franklin.  I’ve lived in the Cincinnati area since 1999.  Prior to that, I lived in NYC for a couple of years.  I was born and raised in the deep south. I am an avid Ole Miss fan.  I also enjoy music and travel.

  1. Thanks for stopping by http://nakedpoet.wordpress.com and liking my poem. Love photography and the red barn is awesome. I used to live in Dayton, so it gave me a smile to see that you went to UD. I’ll be tuning in to your landscapes. Pleased to meet you.

  2. Gorgeous photos. I could sift through this blog for hours. Thank you for liking my post on my blog and allowing me to find yours! Happy photographing!

  3. Your photos are absolutely beautiful. This is what I aim for in my future. I have amateur photos right now, I’m posting a few randomly. I will be taking a photography course starting in May, I hope to keep everyone posted on my progress. I look forward to being more knowledgeable to create beautiful works of art like you have! Great job!

  5. I grew up in north Georgia, but worked a lot in Ole Miss country. This is a great site with great pictures. I really like the “Your Story” series. Keep that up.
