St. Maarten

One of our Caribbean stops was to the island of St. Maarten.  We landed on the Dutch side and took a ride over to a famous beach on the French side.  It’s a beautiful island filled with lovely people, wonderful fauna and magnificent blue skies and ocean.

  1. Hi! beautiful ocean scenes, being from Miami, I can appreciate Orient Beach, seems very familiar. Nice work.

  2. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever traveled to. I plan to go back when I retire in a few years and spend an entire month there. I love the Caribbean. Thanks for the beautiful photos.

  3. Their flag is almost similar to our philippine flag except the signia on the white part of the flag. Our flag has blue on top and red at the bottom.
Philippines also boasts white sands such as that of Boracay.

      • The thing is that … I have been to the French Polynesia and after 2-3 days all islands look the same, beautiful and pretty – that is why I never really liked the idea of the Caribbean.
Your photo have changed a bit for me.

      • Well there are some islands that are similar. However, there are many unique islands. For example, Grenada is tropical and has many types of spices grown there. It was one of our favorite islands. Aruba, Bonaire and Curaco are all dry like a desert and have great back country adventures. In fact, part of Aruba look like you are on the moon. There are many other interesting places. So it’s not just beaches.

      • Thanks for coming back to me … French Polynesia was so much a like – so it became boring and it’s not the most friendly places neither, I think it’s because they are French. Glad I was working. *smile

  4. This has nothing to do with the post, Seth. (Referring to mail) I’m just trying to find a solution to my problems, and I think I may have stumbled upon something. Crossing my fingers and pressing ‘send’
