San Gervasio

DSC_4995.jpg

There is a quaint spot deep in the heart of the jungle.  It rests on a tiny island just off the coast of Mexico.  Today it’s known as San Gervasio.  To the locals that lived there, it was called Tantun Cuzamil. The goddess Ix Chel was worshiped there.  Now only Iguanas roam the land.  If they worship Ix Chel, they don’t say.  To see many more photos of our adventure please go to my Photoshelter site located here.
