The Masons and music

The Cincinnati Masonic Center is located in the eastern fringes of downtown.  It was built by the Valley of Cincinnati, a local branch of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite.  I don’t know much about the masons, other than my grandfather used to be one.  However, I do know they generally build fantastic structures.  This beautiful Mason home opened in 1928 and has been a pleasant viewpoint in the city ever since.  Next to the Masonic Center is the equally magnificent Taft theatre, where generations of Cincinnatians have had their ears and eyes entertained with music and play.
