It’s that time of year when folks are scurrying about trying to find that perfect gift. Not everyone heads out to the mega stores. Some still take the time to get out, walk around, and do a bit of window shopping.

I miss the days of Christmas displays in windows. I’d forgotten about that until I saw your post.
In NYC, they have really big ones each year. Or at least they did when I lived there in the late 90’s.
I like that Go to the Light and closed! Well done, and Merry Christmas!
Thanks Tracy! Merry Christmas.
I love Harrison Brothers. Great photos, as always!
Thanks Paul!
Yup, love window shopping and your photos…we walked around the St. Armand’s Circle shops tonight…since we’re vacationing in Longboat Key…beautiful weather, lights, tourists…and Kilwin’s ice cream…ahhh Christmas!!!
Sounds wonderful. It was really warm here yesterday. Today its 20 or something. Brrr.
I too miss, not just the Christmas window displays, but window shopping of an evening around town. It was fun, social and helpful. But then rowdiness came along, then the shops would introduce shutters to protect their property and the high street in the evening became a urban desert….sad statement on society. But on a happy note…like the series and of course wish you all the very best for the Holiday Season and the New Year…..looking forward to seeing more great blogs.
That sounds horrible. But, many towns had that happen and then revitalized and now are safe again. Perhaps this will happen there as well.
