I met another crazy bird yesterday. She’s the second cousin twice removed of Brenda. She was hanging out, enjoying the nice fall-like weather until she realized I was taking snaps of her. Based on her facial expression, I don’t think she liked being the subject of a Seth Snap.
She looks like a Belinda. I was honestly going to take a pic of myself using the same expression. It looks like a turkey mixed with a pigeon mixed with a vulture. Beautiful bird. What is it?
I think she’s a Turkey Buzzard.
Well, I knew it looked like a cross between something, and those are two cool birds to cross. I want to see a chostrich, a cross between a chicken and an ostrich, or a chenguin, a cross… it’s not important. Pay no attention to me.
That face in the first pic
🙂
Awesome pics of her! I love the one of her taking off! Miss camera shy!
Indeed. Thanks Lisa.
A days or so ago, I was able to capture (with a camera) several vulture pictures. They are strange, wonderful beasts.
Yes I agree. Thanks@!
Maybe she’s annoyed you caught her without her wig. 🙂
I think you might be right.
I used to be afraid of vultures, but I’m learning to appreciate them. Belinda is quite lovely – in her way.
Sounds good. 🙂 Thanks.
So beautiful!
Thanks 🙂
Great images of a great bird! Is she a turkey vulture?
I think so Lorrin. 🙂
I love turkey buzzards. Not a pretty bird for sure, but they are all about community and that is very endearing to me. Wonderful pics!
I hope Brenda’s better looking than her cousin!
Dude you’re so country, The only birds i get to see are pigeons. lol.
I am country! 🙂 Thanks Tasha.
