The river is hot, humid and steamy this time of year. It moves slow, tired from evaporating itself.

So amazing! Wow! 🙂
Thx so much.
Looks like my local river (The New)! Aren’t reflections just wonderful?
Yes. Beautiful.
Love your new picture, by the way 🙂
You’ve captured the perfection of nature.
Thx 😊
That is one beautiful river. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome. Thx.
It will soon turn to autumnal colours…..
Yes. 👍
I can HEAR the fly’s buzzing!
Indeed.
It looks so much like Loch Lomond (a lake in Scotland) only with better weather. Eerie 🙂
Huh, interesting. 🙂 Thanks, I’ll have to see pics of that place.
It looks so peaceful. Beautiful pics.
Thanks!
Time for a slow drift down the river.
Indeed. Thanks David.
great series of shots.
Thanks so much!
I hope this doesn’t sound patronising, but you’re photos are getting better by each new post. The composition in this set is grand.
These are absolutely beautiful! They remind me a bit of the Forest of Dean; a typical view of English countryside in Autumn.
Looks like the river of my childhood. Sometimes I call it “The Green River”.
“Well, take me back down where cool water flow, yeh.
Let me remember things I love …” 🙂
Where did you grow up?
It doesn’t look that steamy from here…Looks very inviting rather…and looks like a river where Tom Sawyer or Huckleberry Finn would find adventures…
