Todd, Jackson and I found ourselves surround by beautiful Tiger Swallowtail butterflies while walking along side the Little Miami River. They were very friendly and kind enough to stop their fluttering for a bit to pose for us. They called themselves Tiny and Bertha.
Seth,
I am loving the synchroncities here! First I posted about a female swallowtail here : http://lindalitebeing.wordpress.com/2013/07/16/poetry-adventures-in-stillness-and-vast-mysteries/
then a FB friend took his own awesome picture of a female. So I was inspired and snapped a male today ( to be posted soon!) and then I see your lovely post!
peace, Linda
