While driving to work early in the morning, I often seen amazing sunrises and beautiful skies. Here is one picture I took last week. Write me a story.

Dawning of the day
The sun peeking over trees
Coaxing me to rise
Thanks Charles.
Here is a haiku inspired by your awesome sunrise!
tangerine sun sails
illuminating blue sea
white waves wash ashore

Sun assists to win!
Thanks Justine.
🙂
Trails of clouds across the sky,
reflect the sun as she does rise.
The yellow of the day is spread,
far and wide – Hello again!
The sun is welcoming in once more
this day of joy forevermore….
Hugs,
Barbara xxxx
Barbara, beautiful. Thanks.
Hi Seth. Thanks for visiting and liking my blog. I’ve looked through some of your photos and they are amazing. You inspire me and make me want to take up photography again. Can I ask what type of camera you use?
Nikon D3100.
“If you want to be reminded of the love of the Lord, just watch the sunrise.”
― Jeannette Walls, Half Broke Horses
Great quote. Thanks.
The breaking sun is always a a gift.
To lift your gaze from the road,to take a quick glance to the left is never more rewarded than when the sun is making it’s presence felt.
Just a glimpse is all that is needed to evoke feelings of hope, the soft and rounded glow, powerful and uplifting.
The road ahead holds many unpredictable turns and twists, our day can be changed by any number of influences beyond our control.
Life has few guarantees as certain as the rising and setting of this powerful orb.
Seeing the blush of the morning sun instills in us a sense of hope,no matter what unravels ahead of us on this uncertain path, the sun will rise and the sun will set..it is the law of the natural world,it is the certainty we crave, the beauty we seek and the muse for our daydreams.
Drive on and leave the sun behind.
Absorb the feelings it has evoked in you.
Be comforted in the knowledge it will be there tomorrow.
It will not be the same and that is fine..neither will you.
Beautiful. Thanks so much. 🙂
Opportunity crept over the horizon and as the dawning light emerged from the inkiness of the previous night, I knew this was going to be a great day. As the tenuous early red rays pushed back the few lingering blue clouds, I felt my heart lighten. I must seize this moment, I thought, as my fingers gripped the steering wheel tightly. I wanted so badly to get to my coffee shop for a heart starter but I knew the glory that was about to reveal itself to my part of the world any moment would be fleeting. So, I pulled off onto the gravel shoulder. My heart lurched as the back wheel started to slide down toward the ditch but momentum kept me moving forward and I was on hard soil quickly. Yes! A small victory – but sinking into a ditch could have really wrecked this day. Further thought was dowsed by the blood red glory of the Sun’s incomprehensible power. My heart beat slowed as I watched this remarkable show unfold. For the other drivers hurtling along the road and ignoring this precious moment, I felt only pity. Guys, you don’t know what you’re missing, I wanted to shout but kept quiet. No doubt wisely. In the blink of an eye almost, the magnificence of that first ruby dawning faded into the yellowing of another superb, sunny day. I felt warmed by the occasion but quickly remembered my goal. Coffee was no longer an option as time was tight. Still my adrenalin was pumping with the beauty I had witnessed so caffeine could wait. I checked my watch again for the umpteenth time. I should be okay but how would the traffic be? My palms started to moisten on the wheel as I pictured clogged lanes of commuters braking my progress as surely as an anchor bringing a ship to heel. Please, please, don;t let there by an accident. Not today. Not today. As I crossed the first overbidge I almost yelled with delight as I saw the sparse traffic flow. Yes! The tyres sq
Dawn! A new day. So many things could happen, so many things I can do. Will it be mundane, and forgotten by the next sunrise, or epic in some way, that will stay with me forever. I never know till it goes down. But each sunrise brings its on life and surprise!
Great thanks. 👍
(As I was saying before I used up too much space . . . )
The tyres squealed as I floored the accelerator and hurtled past concerned drivers in other lanes. You could hear them mutter ‘bloody idiot’ as I zoomed by. And all I could think about was my goal: getting to the hospital to see my darling wife and our brand new baby daughter, Sunrise. Less than 24 hours outside the womb, she lit up our lives like nothing else before or since. The labour was a doozy and Jenny cursed like a longshoreman but the result was perfection. Sunrise. My beautiful, gorgeous, darling new daughter. How much I love you. Yes, I could feel that today – like yesterday – was bound to be full of new beginnings.
Great!!!! Thanks so much.
See me as I come up, a beautiful orange glow. I light up everywhere I touch and help your thoughts to flow. And when I finally emerge in all my majesty, you would be sorry if you look upon me for a certainty.
😎Love it thanks.
I think the Beatles said it better than I could:
Here Comes The Sun”
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it’s all right
Little darling, it’s been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it’s been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it’s all right
Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it’s been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it’s all right
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it’s been clear
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it’s all right
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
It’s all right, it’s all right
👀👀thanks.

The morning sun ignites the sky
With hues of reds and golds
To pierce the dark in dawn’s reply
A mystery unfolds
