Water is not only the source of life but it is also the beauty of life. It weaves in and out of our lives, mostly unobserved and underrated. It’s our playground, our thirst quencher, and even our power generator. I took a few shots of a small stream leading into the Little Miami River while on a trail walk the other day. The sun was getting ready to bed for the night and its reflection in the water was overpowering, creating a sparking memorizing effect.
indeed, water is the source of life and there will be no life with out it. Lovely photos. Sara
Thanks Sara.
Fine images. Overlook is my favorite.
Thanks Les.
Beautiful pictures, I will be glade when God heals our land with rain or snow. We are so dry that one of the lakes as gone from 99 feet deep to 24 feet deep. So please pray that we would get some of that healing water.
Thanks

Craziest thing about water to me is that it’s so important and can either save our life or take it.
Very true.
You have a beautiful talent!
Thanks Deana.
I asked the trickling water splashing on stones and shores, where do you come from and where do you want to go, clueless colorless, odorless it flows, washing away dirt and cooling all in one go..sparkles when light falls , brightens my eyes too..my dear stream of fesh water..how do you do 😉

Beautiful shots. And I agree about the importance of water. The business world is looking at water differently, too. Stocks in water companies are rising — it may be the next scarce commodity. http://ohtheplaceswesee.com
Thanks Rusha.
Too many books, too litle time.
In your case, too many beautiful photos to comment on each.
This water series is awesome. A favorite: Solely Blue.

Sparkly water. Lovely. Treasuring our water is so important. Your photos are an excellent reminder as to why we should care about them.
Thanks Gallivanta.
water is my element!
Thanks Albert. What do you like to do in the water? Just view it or is there a sport you are interested in?
Viewing and sporting! I like swimming, sailing and windsurfing. Kiting is a dream of me..
If I do nothing, I´m hanging arround and look for a good fish..
but thats with a smile..
Wow. You so love the water.
We live about 500 feet from the Chemung River (upstate Ny); it is my refuge. The views you have captured are so inviting and peaceful… the captions are a perfect pairing.
Sounds lovely. Thanks for your comments.
I love your preamble to the photos – great narrative!
Thanks Noeline.
I am just in awe. Your photos are beautiful and I almost always look forward to seeing your next post. Photography is something that has always cached my attention and I have a most immense respect for the people that practice it.

Very beautiful! Reminds me of James River Park here in Richmond VA…and also how I miss wandering around taking photos! Thanks for the inspiration 🙂
Welcome. Thanks Meredith.
Beautiful pictures! Beautiful stream. My kind of wandering. Thanks.
🐞Thanks.
There’s something magical about ‘flowing freely’ with the accents of rust colour on the water above the stone. Wonderful.
Thanks:)-Glad you like them.
Simply beautiful. I only admire water from afar, it has so much power I respect it for that. But the serene beauty of these pictures are simply disarming.
Thank-you.:)
Your pictures are stunning, but you also have a beautiful way with words! Great introductions – I very much enjoy your blog 🙂
