Wreaths and Bows of Lebanon

Wreaths and bows are everywhere these days. Every December they pop up in towns, on houses and even cars.  They seem to be multiplying.  I took a tour of the wreaths and bows of Lebanon today.  It was a beautiful December afternoon.  The sun warmed the streets and buildings with its rays.  The sky was the perfect blue.   The only thing missing was snow.

  1. Ah so awesome. I love Christmas! I’m writing this during a commercial break from watching a Christmas movie on abc family. Lol. Awesome pictures. I would be so happy to walk down those streets. 😀

  2. I just love the way you’ve done these…that is so cool… I really need to learn how to do that trick cuz your pictures are always great! 😀

  3. You have a really nice town! I love Christmas. The sights don’t impress me all that much, but the smells sure do!! Real wreaths and trees and cooking and paper. ummmm! Your pictures are stunning as always!

    • Thanks. It depends on which picture you are talking about. Generally, I don’t use much color enhancement on red because it looks too saturated. Some of these I’ve added some hues.

  4. I’ve always wanted to see the famous Cedar trees of Lebanon, is there a grove of them left anywhere, do you know, have you seen them? I wonder if they’ll be Lebanon Cedars in Heaven? I hope so.

  5. I love how you single out the red in the black and white photos, adds a lovely focus to the pictures. You have a great skill in photography. 🙂

  6. I could seriously hear Christmas songs playing in my head while I looked at your pictures 🙂 So pretty! I love your photography – there is such a kindness that comes through. Thanks for sharing it, I look forward to your posts every day. Happy holidays to you and your family.

  7. Some amazing pictures. The ones that you did in black and white but left a bit of red. Wow. Your pictures really capture the warmth and essence of Christmas. Thank you.
