The morning air was crisp and cool. It was the coldest morn yet this fall. The frost was heavy and covered the ground like big chunks of glitter. The sun welcomed with a warm glow that wrapped me from head to toe like Mawmaw’s old cotton quilt.
The contrast between the cool of winter’s approach and the warmth of the forgotten summer sun could only mean that autumn is still here, although not for long. Soon the sun will only last a few rays a day and the night will take it’s long winter hold. It’s then that I will long for the joy of today.

Thanks Jevgenia.
Wow these are great!
Thanks Aaron.
Love your favorite tree!!!
And the John Deere too =0)
Thanks sock monkey. 🙂
Stunning photos!! I love dawns like this, but they are few and far between here! Sunsets are so much easier to capture!
Thanks Barbara. I was lucky to get them this morning. Since this morning it’s been all rain.
Wow. Breath taking. My favorite is a tie between the 3rd and the last one. SO jealous I don’t live where you do. Every morning would be a joy to wake up and have that to greet me. Thank you for sharing.
But you live in the greatest city on earth! I love NYC! 😉 Hope all is well. Thanks for stopping by again.
Lol. I guess its just a complex. We long for what we do not have. The city girl longs for the country. But I bet when i move to a country town I will long for the busy city streets.
True. When I lived in NYC, I like it but at times I longed to find a field and just run around in it.
Seth…for some reason I can’t leave a “like” so here’s a comment to let you know how much I like the sunrise photos…(smile)…
Thanks Molly!
These photos are giving me a sense of peace. 🙂
Thanks Aian. Peace is good.
Your pictures are wonderful! Your words create pictures in my mind. Thank you.
Thanks Therese.
Wonderful pictures! Unlike many, I really enjoy this time of year.
Thanks M.L. I think there is beauty in every season. 🙂 It depends on my mood which is my favorite.
All are so pretty. The four that I like are of the “old barn,” “beautiful.” “frosty field” and “rise and shine.”
Thanks for liking so many! 🙂
While they’re all gorgeous, the old barn is a fav of mine. Nice work!
Thank you Shutterbug, I’m glad you like that old barn.
Superb indeed! Absolutely beautiful, I just love that golden light!
Thanks Sonnie
Nice set, the backlit trees are my favourites
Thanks! I toy between keeping them back lit and adding come light to the foreground. Glad you enjoy them.
awesome pictures seth
Thank you Blake. 🙂
Love “Balloon Chase.” There’s something about the distance between the two and the more subdued light from the sun that makes this photo my favorite. Thanks for sharing! http://ohtheplaceswesee.com
Thank you Rusha.
magnificent shots as always!
Thanks Junsjazz.
A perfectly named post. Superb indeed! Glad I stopped by to see what you’re up to! Thanks for enjoying my photos lately too. 🙂

Beautiful, all of them! 🙂 Wish I had room on my walls to hang some of them there.
Shirley. Well you’d be the first and I would be honored 😉

Thank you Dominick.

Thank you Ali.
These are just gorgeous photos. Love the first one.
Thank you so much. I am glad you enjoy them.
Superb is definitely the right word!
Thanks Jessica.
Just wanted to say I love your posts. I am from Ohio and living in Atlanta and miss the distinct and beautiful seasons. Your posts always remind me of the every day beauty of home.
Natalie,
Thanks. I actually grew up down south so we’ve reversed.
All beautiful, but balloon shots are too cool. Another great job… 😀
Glad you like them. One day, when I have the $$ I’m going to take one of those ballon rides.
Magnificent! That last one in particular. A shame our little boat has no wall space to hang anything…I am so tempted…
I want to live on a boat! I love being on the sea.
Unfortunately, our boat isn’t in the water, right now….but maybe soon. I’ve got my fingers crossed.
Yes please do.
Love the lonely tree
Thanks. 🙂 !
Once again your photos leave one with a wistful feeling for being back in the (Ohio) countryside.
Thanks Ronald

Amazing shots, Seth. Especially, the Balloon and the Sun shots…
Thanks Buddy. I am glad you enjoy them. I see that balloon almost every weekend.
Amazing!! My favorite is the last one!
It seems you are in the majority on that one 🙂 Thanks
Beautiful photos as always. My favorite is the fourth one – it has a nice subtle, ghostly look to it. The hot air balloon photos are gorgeous as well.
Thanks Dieu.
These are really beautiful shots. Well done. Thanks for sharing

Beautiful pics by a man on a mission to perhaps find himself in life and inspire others by sharing part of his journey…My own refections is that he is going places far beyond he himself knows!! and he will have much to offer to society at large…best of luck…
These are SO stunning and remind me of my grandparents farm in Nebraska!
Thanks lila.
I love these pics! The “Happy balloon” made me feel happy even before I noticed the title. I feel inspired to paint one of these. Thanks for taking the time to post your photos.
Great Laura! Glad I could help.
Beautiful pics! I can almost feel the crisp morning air!
Thanks Trisha.
Last picture tear some strings in my soul apart…
Thanks Alex.
Good morning world! It seems this morning will be cloudy, but the sun says hello to you all. An air balloon will be seen floating in the air. If you are lucky enough you might catch it! But remember! The main attraction this morning is the golden sun!
That is all from me, nothing-much-to-do news. Good moring and have a nice day!
😛
Wonderful words. Thanks so much.
Your welcome 🙂
