A few days ago I posted several pictures of Canterbury(All Hallows’ Eve in Canterbury) from a trip we took to the UK and France back in 2005. I plan to show you several of the stops we made while on that journey.
This set of photos was taken late one night in London. We rented a house in Eastbourne down on the southern coast. It was cheaper and about an hour by train to London. I had been to London and Paris many times but Todd and his brother had never been before. So, I insisted that we visit Paris for a few days so that they could get a feel for the difference between the two cities.
We had booked the first Eurostar of the day to Paris. I can’t remember exactly what time it left but it was too early for us to arrive from Eastborne prior to the departure that morning. We had the bright idea that we would take the last train into London and walk from that station(I can’t remember which one.) to Warterloo Station where the Eurostar departs for Paris.
It was an exhausting night. Nonetheless, it was a fantastic walk through the heart of London. Here are a few of the photos that I was able to capture while on that walk.

Hey, thanks for sharing these pictures – I’m an English girl born and bred and have visited London many times and these have reminded me how gorgeous the city is, especially at night!
It is a lovely city.
That last image is perfection. Nice series!
Thanks you 😎
This is the London I really miss. Thanks for the awesome pictures.

These are brilliant…. as a previous comment noted, they are gifts. Someday I will get to the UK. In the meantime, I will enjoy your pics….
You should get to the UK. Very interesting place to visit. Thanks.

Indeed such a magnificent work of art… your pictures are awesome!
Thanks very kind. Thanks.
These images have a unique feel to them. Don’t you just love shooting at night? Great work.
Yes I do. Thanks so much. 🙂
I really like the ‘colour tinting/highlighting’ you did on them – it really brings out particular features really well. My favourite would have to be the houses of parliament ‘lights’.
Thanks YWS. I just made them black and white and then added one color back.
I love night photography. The last one is my fav…spooky and enthralling at the same time. Great job with these photos!
Thanks. It reminds me of a mystery setting .
Love these, Seth! The yellow is stunning. Steph

That would be awesome! 🙂

You are probably right.
