Ault Park

It started out as a nasty day here.  I was afraid I wouldn’t get the chance to visit the next park, Ault Park, on my list.  I decided to take a chance and venture out in the rain.  Amazingly, when I got to the park, the rain stopped and the sun peeked out.

Ault Park in Cincinnati is a beautiful garden park.  Among the many things to do there, I focused on the tree path and garden areas.  There were quite a few types of trees, each nicely labeled and many beautiful gardens.  The gardens have an adopt-a-plot program(started back in the 80′s) where individuals can adopt a small plot and grow their own garden.   It has been very successful.

I enjoyed my walk in the park.  I felt as though I had stepped into an English castle garden.  I kept waiting for the horses with the Queen to round the bend.  I encourage all to take a stroll in Ault Park.
